Plans and limits

Open in AI

Flashcard Motion comes in three plans: Free, Pro and Premium. The learning features are included in every plan; the plans differ mainly in the limits for content, storage and AI usage. As long as payments are in preparation, you can use the app for free – the plan limits still apply.

  • Free – for getting started and a focused study routine.
  • Pro – more capacity for regular, intensive learning.
  • Premium – generous limits for large collections and AI workflows.

You see your current plan and your limits in the settings under Plan. On the plans page you compare all plans and choose between Monthly and Yearly.

Open the plans page via Manage plan in the account menu or via Change plan in the settings and pick the plan you want. An upgrade applies immediately; the prorated difference is charged right away. When you move to a smaller plan, your credit is applied to the next invoice. If you pick the plan you are already on, nothing happens.

Payments run through Stripe; your card details never reach our servers. You pay monthly or yearly – the yearly plan is cheaper. You manage invoices and payment methods in subscription management, where you also see when your subscription renews.

You can cancel any time in subscription management. Your plan stays fully usable until the end of the paid period; after that the Free limits apply. On the free plan there is no membership to cancel.

Depending on your plan, limits apply to:

  • Folders – how many subjects and folders you create.
  • Storage – PDF storage including the maximum file size.
  • AI usage – text characters, files per request, PDF pages per request and maximum file size.
  • Learning energy – your monthly allowance for AI features.
  • Flashcards – per day and in total.

You find your current values and usage under Settings → Plan → Your Limits; the learning energy is also broken down by usage there. A reset date shows when a monthly allowance renews.

PDF storage and Nuvia content count together against your storage limit. How much space is used and how the usage is split is shown in the explorer under Storage and in the storage overview.

Your existing folders, notes and flashcards stay with you – also when you move to a smaller plan. The limits only apply when creating new content.
