Tasks record what is next on your list. They always belong to a folder, so they stay in the learning context they came from.
Creating tasks
Section titled “Creating tasks”Create a task in its folder: open the folder and choose Add task. Only the Title is required, for example “Finish worksheet 5”. Optionally add a Description with the concrete work step and pick a Due date in the calendar.
The choice buttons set the Type – Homework, Exam prep, Revision or Custom – and the Priority: Low, Medium or High. Unless you change it, a task starts as homework with medium priority; you can adjust both at any time later.
Tasks in a folder
Section titled “Tasks in a folder”In the folder, the Tasks area shows a preview of the most important open entries: the next three tasks stay visible at all times. Open task view takes you to the full list.
There, open tasks are grouped by due date: Overdue, Today, Upcoming and No due date. Anything without a near-term date collects in the last group. Below the open tasks you see what you completed Recently.
All tasks at a glance
Section titled “All tasks at a glance”Your dashboard shows the next open entries from your folders under Tasks. View all tasks opens the table of all tasks with task, folder, due date, priority, status and type – open work stays on top, completed tasks remain visible below. Open folder takes you straight to the task in its folder.
Completing and editing
Section titled “Completing and editing”Tick off a task once it is done: it moves to Recently completed and disappears from the open groups. Clicked too early? Reopen task brings it back.
Edit task opens all details – title, description, due date, type, priority and status. Delete task removes an entry after a short confirmation.
Priorities
Section titled “Priorities”Priorities show you what to tackle first. At the first open section of the task list you find a priority bar: click Low, Medium or High to activate the mode, then pick the tasks – or drag a task straight onto the button you want. The colour on the task tells you its priority.
Scheduling in the calendar
Section titled “Scheduling in the calendar”With a due date, a task appears in the calendar automatically. Tasks without a date are scheduled there via Schedule onto a specific day. Open in calendar takes you from the task preview straight into the calendar view. More on this under Calendar.
Exporting tasks
Section titled “Exporting tasks”You can save your tasks as a file: in a folder via Export, in the task overview via Export as JSON. The file contains all tasks together with their folder and can be downloaded at any time.
