Achievements are small badges for milestones: your first card, a week of showing up, a perfect round. They are meant to motivate without taking over your study day — which is why you can hide them entirely.
The overview
Section titled “The overview”The Achievements page shows you everything at a glance:
- Counters – how many achievements you have unlocked in total, split into regular and secret ones.
- Filters – All, Unlocked, Locked and Secret.
- The badges themselves – locked badges are pale, unlocked ones colourful. For countable achievements the progress is shown, for example
12/50. - Details per badge – hover over it or tap it to see name, condition and — for unlocked achievements — the date.
Unlocked achievements stay unlocked. You do not lose them if you do not study for a while.
The regular achievements
Section titled “The regular achievements”These achievements are openly visible, along with their condition:
| Achievement | For |
|---|---|
| First Steps | learning your first card |
| 3-Day Streak | studying 3 days in a row |
| Week Warrior | studying 7 days in a row |
| Monthly Champion | studying 30 days in a row |
| On the Way | learning 10 cards |
| Diligent Learner | learning 50 cards |
| Century Success | learning 100 cards |
| Learning Master | learning 500 cards |
| Perfect! | a session without a wrong answer |
| Night Owl | a session between 10:00 PM and 5:59 AM |
| Early Bird | a session between 5:00 AM and 6:59 AM |
| Speed Demon | learning 20 cards in under 5 minutes |
| Collector | creating 5 folders |
| Inbox Zero | clearing your first due review queue completely |
| Mature Stack | growing 25 mature Spaced Repetition cards |
| Review Routine | completing reviews 7 days in a row |
| Backlog Tamer | keeping your overdue backlog at zero for 3 days |
Most of these come about by themselves when you study regularly. A few deliberately reward different behaviour — such as speed, time of day or tidiness.
Secret achievements
Section titled “Secret achievements”Some achievements are hidden. As long as you have not unlocked them, you see ??? instead of the name and a note that you have to find out how they work.
The page gives you three hints pointing in the right direction:
- Try classic gaming references.
- Sometimes it is about the right timing.
- Numbers can have a special meaning.
Nothing more is revealed — that is the whole point. If you like, let yourself be surprised.
How you find out you earned one
Section titled “How you find out you earned one”As soon as you meet a condition, a short notification appears. For secret achievements the wording is different, so the moment stays something special.
Hiding achievements
Section titled “Hiding achievements”If you prefer studying without badges, switch them off in Settings under Learning in the Gamification section with Show achievements. The rest of the app stays the same; you simply see no achievements and no progress related to them. The unlock notification disappears too.
It is not a one-way street: if you switch them back on, your previous achievements are still there.
Common questions
Section titled “Common questions”Why was an achievement not unlocked even though I studied? Some achievements require something specific — a streak, a certain time of day or a minimum amount. Check the condition in the badge.
Do abandoned sessions count? Yes, your ratings are counted. To see the evaluation at the end you do not have to finish the round, though.
Can others see my achievements? No. Achievements are visible to you only.
Where do I see my progress towards an achievement?
For countable achievements the status is shown right in the badge, for example 12/50. You also see it when you open the details.
